Summary

All said and done, it was a great trip. Thanks again to Dan and Lara for opening up their home to all of us and their fabulous hospitality (and Daphne for sharing her bedroom yet again). To Mel and kids for carving out so much time to be with us. To the Portugals for their HERCULEAN efforts to be a part of the celebrations. To Joy/George for letting us use their home. To the Bluths for hosting dinner and the blessing. To my Mom for making us feel welcome and loved. To Seth/Heidi and Taft for making it all come together! There is no denying that we are blessed to be a family!

Flaggstaff to Draper

The Great West. We drove from Flaggstaff AZ to Draper UT and passed by Lake Powell and passed through Zion's National Park. Fabulous. Oh, and fyi, it is snowing in Utah today.

Mom's house, Stephen Stills, Grand Canyon

We had a great visit in Farmington with my Mom and we had Natalie's family with us for a couple of days. Like the 4 generation of girls???
Tom and I went to a Stephen Stills concert in Durango Colorado at Fort Lewis College. Stills was Tom's 16 year old music idol and to hear him play 40 years later was amazing. Stills still has it.
The Grand Canyon. It was the first time for both of us. It certainly is a jaw-dropper. Of course a picture does it no justice whatsoever. Can't believe I have lived in this area and never made the visit before!

Scott's mustache

My little brother Scott has had a mustache since the age of 15 years old. He was just accepted to Inspector Brand Academy. It is an academy much like the military with PT and boot camp, etc. One of the rules is no facial hair, so he has to shave off the 28 year old mustache. Here is the last picture of that mustache. We left on Sunday and he starts the academy today, Monday....and it still wasn't shaved off. I'm sure it is by now...wonder how he likes it? Wonder what he looks like????

Taft's blessing

Also on Conference Sunday, Seth blessed his son. It was a beautiful blessing. Taft is a lucky boy to have such great parents. Thanks to the Bluths for hosting the event at their house.
