Color!

You may or may not recognize some of these places around the neighborhood. The forest floor is covered with white flowers. Next will be the bluebells. Everything seems to be in bloom. Add the sunshine (enough to get a definite shadow) and the warmer weather and Spring is officially in Belgium.

Home, but wishing I was still there.....

Blood Oranges...sweet!
You have to look really hard, but in the center of the picture you can see a 'house'. It's a restaurant where we had lunch...best penne I've ever eater. Ever.
Ah, the butt-plug. Had to get a picture of Tom on it. He hates it. Luckily we only had to do it once.
The steeple against the rock backdrop. Hard to resist.
guess what Tom said after he took this picture? "Shot of the day"!

Quite a View

Oh la la, what a view!
As far as the eye can see...all included in one ski pass!
I love the contrast of the rock and sky

The Italian SUN

Super Spring conditions
I love the European conception of "queue". It is every man for himself and if you give an inch they take it. Amazing there aren't more arguments. Oh, we did have a kid squeeze by us and everyone made room for him....the Natalie trick, remember?

The real way to ski.....

Sunset and nobody wants to stop.
It is a beautiful place here in the Dolomiti.

20 Bucks

stroller (umbrella)
(2) bike helmets
photograph album
ziplock bag full of stickers
(2), 32 fl oz of Tresemme shampoo (professional quality)
baseball mitt (child size)
alligator rainboots, Land's End, size 10

Yep, that's what 20 bucks bought me at the consignment shop today. Of course, all I went in to find was the umbrella stroller (in fabulous shape I must add).
BUT, what I am most excited about is that I also bought a child's bike trailer....what do you call those things? You know, Dan and Lara have one that Taft and Brauer rode in together. It's Nordic Track and cost a whopping $35. It's in perfect shape. I guess somebody didn't want to move it....or their kids outgrew it and they didn't want to hold onto it for grandchildren!
So Bryn and Isa, get prepared for some bike trips when you come in April/May!!! Mosel River here we come!
