I received this bouquet from some of you for Mother's Day, beautiful! |
The sunrise show from our apartment is stupendous. We love this about our place. |
I realize that I don't pull out my camera even a small portion of the times that I should. So much happens in a month, and these are the only photos I have to prove that I lived this month at all!
I finished my 17th year as a Seminary teacher. Natalie pointed out that my Seminary students were not even born when I started teaching! I love this calling. Hope I get to do it again next year.
Got new tires on the car to the tune of over 600euros. Not an easy process either b/c we bought the car used and there was an anti-theft bolt on each tire. Did I have the key? Nope. That was a pain to rectify.
My Uncle Herman Walters died on May 8th.
We did our first 'gig' at the temple as Baptistry coordinators. Loved it.
Today is my Mom's 91st birthday. I called her. We talked at max 3 minutes. She is a crack-up.
Mother's Day both Tom and I talked in church, Tori's 2nd birthday, my brother Brent's birthday all in May.
I volunteer at a Soup Kitchen. They asked me to be the volunteer coordinator. Glad to help.
Got a bee sting while playing tennis. Arm swelled up like a balloon. Had to see a Dr. and got some penicillin. Now I know: I'm allergic to bee stings.
Yoga, tennis, Majong, VT, Seminary, RS meetings (I am the secretary) and lovely week-ends exploring the city (Jazz Festival this week-end) are all activities that filled the month. And the final celebration? Colie and Jed get sealed!
