Fun places and faces

The summer of 2017 we had a drought and had threats of rationing water.  Then the winter/spring of 2018 brought an unusual amount of rain, so much so that the Tiber flooded.  Normally there is a sidewalk alongside the wall for bikers and walkers and joggers....not this season! Rome experienced it's first snowfall in 6 years.   Now as I write this blog, it's turned extremely hot, today reach 33C.  What is going on???

B&B Madalena in Avigliana to the west of Torino.  Great find.  We stayed outside of Torino even though we had business in the city.  Wanted to try something in the countryside.

Yeah right.  Doesn't appear to me that they are going to bother to tow this away:  On the French Riviera near Monaco.  We were in this area for projects in Ventimiglia.

Sacra di San Michele west of Torino.  It's supposedly rated as highly as Mont Sant Michele, but it's a very distant 2nd.

We got to visit the Amalfi coast again, this time arriving by boat with the Greens

Enjoying overlooking Positano

The fun faces.  We enjoy the Greens.  We stayed a few days on Ischia Island with them, taking in the thermal park at Negombo, and another day a boat ride to Amalfi, and one day at this castle/monastery.

Quite the view from the castle and monastery on the Island of Ischia

In the distance you can make out the island of Capri.  I don't think we will miss these outings do you?  Plenty to keep us busy in Heber I suspect.   ?????
