Update for Natalie

So Natalie thinks I should update my blog more often. Hmpfh! I just got back from taking Seth and Heidi to the Amsterdam airport....yep, I'm bummed. We stayed at a hotel the night before b/c their flight was 0400 (not really but it was early!) and when we said goodbye at the door, I was A-OK with it all, but then Seth popped back in the room to make sure he hadn't forgotten anything...and that's when I got teary. Why doesn't it get any easier??? You would think it was a piece of cake by now. Nope. Maybe it's b/c he was thinking it might be his last time to Europe, at least while we are residents of Belgium....and I was just feeling the "pain". Or maybe I just like the extra noise in the house and the extra action. Well, Nicole will be home from work in a couple of hours and her chatty self will surely help, don't you think??? Of course she is only here for one more week, but what a week....no more work, only play, play, play! Steve starts 2/days for football. Has to be at school by 6:30am, picked up at 8am, taken back at 3pm and picked up at 6pm. I think he should ride his bike TO school and I pick him up, but he said he'll just cry if that happens. Wonder if he would???
We did have fun in Amsterdam though. Went to the Van Gogh museum and the Anne Frank house. Great wind up if I say so myself. We stayed right at the airport and the metro into the city was only 6euros roundtrip and was only 15 min. The deal of the century. It was only a 2 hours drive home this morning and I listened to music and sucked tootsie pops to stay awake. But now if you don't mind, I think I'll have a little sulk!

haha. Thanks for the update. You are too funny!
I have an idea: Why not let Steve drive himself for the morning practice?
Now I want to go to amsterdam! I can't remember the last time we went.

What a great send off. I love the Van Gogh museum. I can't imagine how hard it is to say goodbye so often. You totally deserve a sulk.

I'm glad the sulk was over by the time I got home from work so we could chat. It's so much fun being home because you like to hear all of my stories - dramatizations and all!
