Love the wellies!
Okay that chateau is beautiful. It looks really quaint and peaceful there. What a fun place to go for the weekend. Good idea to stay close to home.

You two look so cutsy in your wellies. Looks like a beautiful place and lovely weekend. I think you guys will do okay as empty nesters.

What are wellies?! I can't wait for a vacation myself.

Amy and I were watching the slideshow and she said, "Holy cow! What does your dad do?" I had to explain that that is NOT our house but my parents are indeed wearing wellies. Love it. My mission is in such a beautiful area!

Confession: After I finish writing a section of my research paper I take a break and watch this slideshow. Honestly. I've watched it so many times because I want to live there! The tapestries, imaged wallpaper, sketched portraits on the walls, winding staircase, tudor windows, door moldings, hedged gardens, and a charming little pond. Ahh! I want to live there! In one of the pictures there's even a riding hat hanging on the wall. Cool! Interesting fact: Wallpaper originally came from book bindings in France anyways! http://www.history-magazine.com/wallpaper.html)

Colie. Oh, I think you will love your mission. Full of chateau's! By the way, the "wallpaper" is actually fabric! Yep...no wall behind, just the insulation. Dad loved that as well. Glad my little montage could be a diversion in the midst of your studies!
