Colie and Mum in London

Colie and I had a great 3 days in London this week. Of all the temples in Europe, it was the London temple she most wanted to see. Can't blame her because in my humble opinion, it truly has the most beautiful celestial room....thanks to Kathleen Bluth! I have included a picture from some of our adventures: the temple, the city, and the country. We stayed with Janelle and Verdonn Simmons. Janelle picked us up at the airport, drove us to the temple, met us downtown for the muscial "Billy Elliot" and drove us back to the airport. She's a good friend!
I do have to say that while we were downtown, we were able to fit in everything and MORE! We saw the terra cotta soldiers at the British museum (the tickets had been sold out for months, but we got in!) We saw two musicals, "Joseph" and "Billy Elliot" and went the the National Art Gallery, and saw a session of Parliament in the House of Commons. I don't think we could have been more blessed.
Oh, and at the temple, we were lucky enough to seal lots and lots of family names. So Nicole has done it all now...from baptisms to sealings. I think she is armed and ready for her mission now.

How fun! Nicole even looks like a missionary to me now. I hope someday I'll be able to see the London temple...do you remember how Jake wanted to get married there? We should have done it.

I just love that temple. I can't believe we got to do everything that we wanted to in London - miracles. Thanks for such a fun week, Mum. Now if I could just get "I close my eyes...draw back the curtains..." out of my head!

Great pictures! I am so jealous you got to see TWO plays. That is for sure one of my favorite things to do.
