Natalie and Bryn are here for 10 days or so. Noel had to go to India for 2 and 1/2 weeks. "Mom, I'm lonely and bored and it's only the first day!" I remember once when Tom left me for 3 weeks. Longest 3 weeks of my life. But then we are wimps b/c lots of people do it for months at a time! Nonetheless, I was on the arrival level of the airport this morning. Much happier! It's 1:46pm and both of them are still sleeping. It's a heck of a long flight, but this time no delays, so it was easier to handle. Natalie said she managed just fine all alone. It wasn't fun, but she did fine.
So I have to say, this has been a great winter...The Portugals and Nicole come for Christmas and Nicole stays on for another 2 months, then Dan comes for work and stays here for a a week, and now Natalie and Bryn are here! And Steve thought he was an only child! Not this winter anyway!
I'll bet you can guess where we are going for dinner tonight! Domus here we come! Again! and Again! and Again!

If Jake gets into Duke, can I come in July? He'll be gone for two weeks too :)...Actually, he would be too jealous for me to go without him, and I don't think I can travel with two kids alone. But how fun to have Natalie and Bryn for a couple weeks. I'm jealous they get to go twice in just a few months.
Mel....you MUST come! But I think I might have to wrestle your mom and dad for you! And 2 kids on the plane, yuck. But you could do it!!!
Super fun. Who says Brussels is far away? Just a plane ride, huh? I am sure you and Natalie will take full advantage of the next couple of weeks. Have fun in Rome!
