Grandma's 85th birthday party
Hey my kids,
Since I had the camera in my hand, I filmed the parts where she was looking at our family pictures. She talks of Dan's kids jumping on the beds and having a blast, and Thomas being a famous name, and Bryn not being afraid of people...
It was the perfect gift. She loved everyone's comments and pictures, etc. It was great for me to be with her on this milestone birthday.
The real touching part of the video for me is when she talks of our family (when I was a kid), and you can see in her eyes how she remembers her love for my Dad and the life they made together. She is an amazing lady.

That was really neat...I can't wait for Jake to see it.
Grandma Grape is an amazing women. I loved watching that video! I feel so blessed to know her and I am grateful for her legacy. It will be great to spend some time with Grandma this summer. I just hope she doesn't do you my yard work this time around. :)
p.s. however, She does seem to be back in good health. Much better than the last time we were able to visit her.
That was great. She's such a sweet woman. I second Lara, it will be great to see her this summer.

So now I've seen the video. Thanks for taking it Mom. Sometimes you wish you could spend all your time in that feeling of love, the feeling we have for Gramcracker. Why is life so busy? I'm sure she wishes at times, as I do, that it would just be still . . . just for a moment. And we could all feel the love, long enough to "fill it on up, to the top of the cup."

Anita, that wasn't nearly long enough! I wanted to see her go through the whole book! I cried through the whole thing. Grandma really is an amazing woman, and we really do have a fabulously perfect family! I love all the memories I have with the family and Grandma and again, I can't wait to see everybody at the reunion. That will be our moment though, so all that can make it, that will be that still moment to let the love fill to overflowing! WE have to enjoy it while it's still here!
