I decided it was time for some good old home movies. These are some of the oldest that we own, so of course very priceless.(but I do have some when I was a kid!) Gram, Pop, Debbie are all gone. And the rest of us are much, much older!
Dan and Seth and Pop jogging at Rehoboth. Tom and Pop reading on the screened-in patio. Dan's 3rd birthday party. (watch when I accidentally bonk him in the head with my purse!) Seth's 2nd birthday party.(He works so hard to blow out the candle and then I light them again. Shoot me!) My favorite bit...Seth is opening his birthday present. The suspense is killing him. "What could it be? What could it be?" Everyone is breathless as they look on.
Oh...boy....a T-shirt. Gee thanks. That's exciting....
I guess you could compare that to getting socks and underwear for Christmas. Just doesn't do the job, if you know what I mean!!!
The other really cute part was when Cathy, Debbie and Dan go to collect flowers. Cathy and Debbie pick beautiful yellow daffodils. Dan thinks a stick is much better. And we wonder where Zane gets his "manhood"!
Oh, and when the horse goes crazy...does anyone think to worry about Dan???? Geez kid, how in the world did you ever survive us???
If it's too long for you, then so be it, I love every second of it.

Jake and I had a great time watching this last night!! It was neat for me to see Gram and Pop too since I was never able to meet them.
Well, Mel, I can't believe you took the time to watch these! It was a long segment. Glad you enjoyed it though!
Good thing Dan was wearing a helmet! Ha!
Oh. I am so bummed that Dan isn't here to watch this with me. He is in Atlanta this week. :( I know he will love this video. I will call him and tell him to check out your blog. Pop, the beach and the farm are his childhood highlights. I feel blessed to have experienced two of those thing with him. I look forward to the day I will get to meet Pop. I recently framed and hung a picture of the farm in our familyroom. Dan told me it was the coolest thing I had ever done. (I thought giving birth to his children was pretty cool, but well...)
I love these old videos. Yeah what were you thinking giving seth clothes? haha.
