It is supposedly the big rage. Have you heard of it? Canyoning that is. It is hard to explain really. You gear up with a wetsuit, helmet and life preserver and shoes! Then with a guide, we navigated down a gorge with our bodies. You jump off of cliffs into the pools of water, float on your back with your heels first so you can navigate through the rocks etc, and you basically go down a river that is a minefield of rocks and waterfalls and cliffs with your body! It was a blast. I would definitely recommend it to the adventurous types! Oh, the water was insanely cold. Couldn't have been done without the wetsuits. Nor without the helmets b/c of all the rocks! Well, as I said, hard to explain. Just do it, if you ever get the chance.

Canyoning was a huge rage when I was out on my study abroad. I didn't want to spend a $100 to kill myself. So I admit it, I am a little bit chicken. Looks like you had great fun!! Love all the pictures!
With my record of cliff jumping, I don't think I would do well canyoning. But it looks amazing. maybe I could get over my fears and do it. You are so creative with your shots. I love that you took one of all the wetsuits laying out. And I have to laugh at that last shot. You look like the typical american family. a boy and a girl. PLUS the boys are the same height and so are the girls. heehee.
Cool pictures. Canyoning sounds way fun. I hope I get the chance to do it one day.
That sounds so FUN! Except the cliff jumping part, I'm scared of that. So FUN!
Anita, you amazingly active brave woman, you. Canyoning looked awesome. Is there anything you can't do? And is that man in Venice, with the gun, available? That pose is so provocative....
Glad to hear all is well in your neck of the woods. I hear you are retiring soon and moving back to the states, so exciting!
