I know this might be a dumb picture. But isn't he sweet? I was sitting on the couch in the piano room and he landed on the railing out front. I wonder if he wishes he had flown south? But he is pretty round and feathery, so maybe he prepared for the cold weather and has a nice cozy nest somewhere.

I love this picture. And I also love the blue railing against the white snow. There is one good thing about snow. It is pretty. And that's about it!
It makes me think of Dad. Why? Because we you and I were cooing over the cute bird he just patiently waited for us to finish. What a nice guy.
