Mel,
You are right. Now I am sympathetic, and empathetic!
But correct me if I'm wrong here. After one day without one leg....
My lame observations (literally)
1)you break an arm, you give up one limb
2)you break a leg, you give up three limbs....the 2 arms are used for transporting now and cannot carry anything!
Having not broken an arm, set me straight (literally)
Were all these puns b/c I am writing to the Mel/Jake contingent????

Positives about breaking a leg v. breaking an arm:
-you can still type
-cooking would be harder with only 1 arm v. 1 leg (I think, I've never tried it but it seems harder to cook with 1 arm)
-you can still read/turn pages
-you can blog like none other
-you can play the piano to your heart's content (you don't even need your left foot for the pedals)
-adaptive yoga is easier with a broken leg than a broken arm
-Dad gets to run around for you!
Colie has some good points, but I'll have to agree that I think breaking a leg is definitely worse than an arm. There's something about immobility that just gets depressing. Hang in there.
