92 euros and 14 cents

That is what it cost me today to fill up my car with gas. 92.14 Euros. So in dollars? That would be a whopping $126.21. I forgot to see exactly how many liters that was, but about 60. Which makes it about a 15 gallon tank. Bottom line, gas is approximately 6.12 euros/gallon or $8.38/gallon.
Now I'm no genius in math. I might have all this wrong, but I don't think so.

And why cry about this now? It has always been expensive to buy gas here. But for some reason, our gas rations have been axed considerably. When we used to be able to get the gas rations for about $3.50/gallon it wasn't quite as painful to buy gas. It doesn't help that most people are fine on their gas rations.... but then they don't travel 2 hours for Stake meetings on a weekly basis. And they don't have 7 hour visiting teaching routes. And they don't have to travel 2 hours to take youth to a Stake dance. Most don't have the temple a 4 hour r/t drive away. Because most aren't mormon!

But then again. Lots have it worse. I'm just saying.....

I hate spending lots of money on things we HAVE to have...like gas and groceries. Why can't that stuff just be free and we can spend our money on fun things like traveling!

Heidi, I like your thinking. I also think we should work M-Th from 10 am to 4 pm & call that full-time. :)
I can't believe how expensive gas is outside the US. No wonder SmartCars are a hit!
