Our little villa in Fethiye Turkey. YOu can see the family on the patio eating their dinner. We had this small private pool but also had access to 5 larger pools that we used much more. |
Didn't catch anything but fun to try. |
Luke thinks he really did catch a fish: the lure was a fake fish that had Luke convinced it was real. |
Turquoise Coast. You could see clear to the bottom. Heidi was brave and didn't let all the sea creatures keep her from diving in. |
Relaxing on our private boat. After a full day on the sea we were heading back to the port. |
The sunset was famous at our beach: Calis beach |
Seth & Heidi: Taft & Luke |
A ghost town: Greeks/Turks had a population exchange, but when the Turks got there they thought it was haunted so they abandoned the city. |
Olu Deniz Beach. The prettiest one in the area. Heidi and Taft floating on the pink tube. |
Our boat docked here for lunch. Seth took the boys out for a quick swim before we ate. They BBQ lunch on the boat. |
In the background you can see the Fethiye Harbor and the ancient castle ruins where the flag flies. |
Luke had fallen asleep on the boat ride home. A Dad/Son discussion about the days adventures. |

That video is super funny. I love all the pictures! Looks like a completely dreamy trip.
Way to go, Heidi! I totally agree with you about the creepy fish. Good thing the water was sooo clean so at least you knew what was under you. Murky water is creepy.
Wow the water looks amazing! i can see why it is called the turquoise coast. What a perfect vacation to take with little kids.
