Halong Bay Vietnam 2014

Stunning, jaw-dropping scenery.  I could have stayed here for the entire vacation.

Hard to capture all the layers and layers of the limestone karst formations

There were hundreds of cruise ships but it added to the ambiance

The ships tend to bunch at certain stops, but on the whole we felt alone on the sea.  It was very peaceful and relaxing.

The Tai Chi Instructor.  Class at 6:30am.  I attended.  It was held on the deck.

On the floating City Tour.  (Tom and Yeow)

Bike Tour of Cat Ba Island

The brightly painted houses of a floating village

Sunset Kayaking.  Definitely the Highlight. (and my personal favorite photo)

On Kayak trip:  visiting another floating village

We were on our own in the kayak and could go wherever we wanted.  It was a fabulous place to explore.

Our cruise ship:  Au Co

Fun to make new friends.  This is one extended family from Malaysia, the family Yeow.

Does this mean Malaysia is the next trip to visit the family Yeow? Don't you guys need people to carry your suitcases? Jed & I are really good at that. I agree - the sunset kayak picture is my favorite. I also love that you did Tai Chi at sunrise. Looks like an amazing trip!
