The window displays are amazing. |
Here is the traveling group from Left: Penny and Neville Rochow from Adelaide Australia. Us. Marisol and Jeff Franks (Marisol is from Bolivia and Jeff from Maryland) |
The next market to attend was in Monchou. Always the quaint hillside Germany village but don't be deceived. It was mobbed for the Christmas market. |
Our next outing was to London for 4 days. |
We rode the London Eye for the first time. Great views. Expensive and a huge line. |
Christmas lights on Oxford Street. This city goes all out with their lights. |
We stopped in a Starbucks for hot chocolate. While Tom was ordering I just got a kick out of this table. Everyone is glued to their phones. 'Nice chatting with you!'..... |
Bankside area. They have really fixed it up nice. Lots of pedestrian paths along the water. Over by the Globe Theater. This is the Millennium Bridge and St. Pauls in the background. |
The Shard. Bankside pedestrian areas. |
Tower bridge in the background and London bridge in the foreground. |
Unmistakable London |

Okay Sister Herway, let's get it right on your blog.
Jeff is not an accountant. Heaven forbid!! He is an economist with a Phd from Harvard and the head of the IMF office in Brussels, which means he is responsible for all IMF-EU relations.
Both Jeff and Neville astound me with their smarts and testimonies.
Between the three of us we solve most world problems pretty quickly.
oops. See what I know. Thanks Tom for that correction!
Jeez you are in pretty big trouble Sister Herway.
.... I thought I already commented on this because I was bemoaning the fact that I was just there at that time a year ago and it was heavenly and I want to do it again!
