We watched the boys while their parents visited Berlin. Then I watched Jonah while they took Taft/Luke to Paris. (All of this was in the innocent days before the terrorist attack) |
Taft celebrated his 7th birthday in Belgium. We went to Hofstead park and this was his b.day dinner: pizza and a chocolate bomb for his cake. |
A camel expedition. I like this shot showing the city in the background. |

Egypt looks amazing! And a hot air balloon ride at sunrise...I would have been all over that. So glad you were there, safe and sound.
Wait - we did NOT talk about how you went on a hot air balloon ride! Whaaaat?!? I would have come with you!!! Ah. We need to travel again together.
I guess I didn't hear as much about this trip because when you got back you left straight for monterrey and then also we wanted to talk about the attacks.
It looks like a fabulous trip. I definitely need to stay at that resort! And the hot air balloon ride looks fabulous! I'm glad you went even though no one wanted to come with you. Maybe I'll have to go to Ireland by myself someday!!
What an incredible trip! I have a hot air balloon ride on my bucket list as well.
