I figure with Natalie and Noel around, I can lay my camera aside and just steal the good ones from them!
We had a super week-end. Fun to be outside. It warmed up to 17C but today it's raining and back to 7C. Fine. We'll take naps. Gotta love the Sabbath.
So far one of my favorite parts: last night Natalie gets out her yellow pad of paper and writes down everything she wants to be sure to get done before she leaves, "Ok, I want to walk around the neighborhood. Then I want to go over to Tervuren. I for sure need to go to Domus at least 3 times! And I hope to get a waffle at least a couple of times each week. Etc." She was trying to figure out how to make the most of each minute of every day. Noel has to work some of the time, so she had a column of what to do when he is free, and another column of what she and I can do while he has to work. Another column for when Dad is available. Another for Belgium, and one for Rome and another for Southern France.
She is impressive!
But it just made me smile inside to know she loves being home so much.
Oh, and Isa already likes me. We are on our way!

I need to get more of that "Seize the day" attitude. I like my "whatever is fine with me" attitude most of the time, but I'd see a lot more if I seized the day like Natalie! I hope you get to do each and every thing on the lists!
Maybe I should start making a list...walk to the bakery every morning, eat a baguette sandwich, at least 4 waffles and 2 Domus trips :) You're going to be sick of Domus here soon aren't you.
Lists are the way to go. And I think it is really cute how much she loves being in Belgium.
That's my sister! If only you knew how much she and I talked about all of the wonderful things we missed from Belgium. Now she gets to enjoy them and I'm glad!
